Yoga Instruction

“Yoga is the art work of awareness on the canvas of body, mind, and soul.”
― Amit Ray
Lisa began her yoga journey in 2001 in New York, where she discovered the transformative power of a dedicated vinyasa practice. After receiving her 200-hour certification in 2007, she delved into a dedicated Ashtanga practice in New York, San Francisco, and in Marseille at Yama Yoga. In Paris, she studied vinyasa with renowned teacher Gerard Arnaud for four years.

Today, Lisa teaches slow vinyasa—a mindful approach rooted in Ashtanga tradition, with sun salutations and warrior sequences that honor the body’s natural rhythm. She also guides students through restorative yin practices and occasionally sets the flow to music.

What makes Lisa’s classes distinctive is her integration of dharma and life wisdom into movement. Her teaching invites students into a meditative, contemplative space where they can explore that sweet spot between effort and ease, between energy and over-striving. With careful attention to alignment and an emphasis on mindfulness, students discover not just physical strength, but inner balance—nourishing both body and mind in a practice that extends far beyond the mat.

Atelier lâcher-prise et abandon

Sunday, December 28

Release what no longer serves you through yin yoga and the Buddhist principle of Anicca (impermanence).

Lisa will explain the four shadow archetypes—the Martyr, the Victim, the Tyrant, and the Innocent—and help you identify the patterns that are ready to evolve, dissolve, or change.

Through gentle, sustained postures followed by a guided meditation, come practice the art of letting go and prepare yourself peacefully for the arrival of the new year.
